City of North Adams – Blackinton Mill Infrastructure Improvements Phase 1

Maxymillian completed Phase 1 of the Blackinton Infrastructure Improvements, a MassWorks grant funded project aimed at addressing persistent water, drainage, and structural issues around the historic Blackinton Mill area. The scope completed included upgrading outdated water and sewer lines to improve municipal capacity; approving and installing larger-diameter stormwater pipes (e.g., from Wood Street to Ashton Avenue) to resolve historical flooding in the area; and adding new accessible sidewalks to better connect the area.
