Eversource – Utility Infrastructure Upgrades, Pittsfield, MA
Working around live 25K volt electric lines, Maxymillian has successfully completed multiple projects on North Street, Linden Street and Fenn Street over the past few years to replace live vaults and manholes. Work has included temporary earth support installation (flat steel sheets and timber lagging with steel walers), conventional and vac truck excavation around numerous existing utilities, and chipping concrete from live duct banks using small, hand held chipping hammers. All manhole work has required daily oversight by Eversource personnel and heavy electrical PPE.
