Maxymillian completed the Narragansett Ave bridge replacement project at Pontoosuc Lake for the MA Department of Transportation and Town of Lanesborough. To maintain access to the neighborhoods throughout the project duration, Maxymillian installed sheeting pits out into Pontoosuc Lake and installed a temporary roadway and temporary bridge piles and footings. The project had its share of challenges, such as driving 200 piles 90 feet into the ground, extensive dewatering, winter work, neighbor easements, and conservation restrictions. But the extensive team effort between state agencies, town officials, legislators, and residents paid off with improved access to neighborhoods and beautiful Pontoosuc Lake.
